TINUBU FIRES EFCC CHAIRMAN The EFCC Chairman, AbdulRasheed Bawa, CON, has been suspended indefinitely by President Tinubu.  This is according to presidential sources to allow for proper investigation into his conduct while in office following weighty allegations of abuse of office levelled against him. He has been directed to immediately hand over the affairs of his office to the Director, Operations in the Commission, who will oversee the affairs of the Office of the Chairman of the Commission pending the conclusion of the investigation. My Family Don’t Need Nigeria’s Wealth To Survive — Remi Tinubu The wife of the President-elect, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, has said that her family doesn't need the wealth of Nigeria to survive. According to Mrs. Tinubu, God has already blessed the family with what is needed to survive. She made the remarks on Sunday during a speech at the presidential inauguration interdenominational church service at the National Christian Centre in Abuja. The wife of the President-elect went on to say that the country's path would be restored with the help of God and Nigerians. She said, “God has blessed my family, we don't need the wealth of Nigeria to survive but to do the right thing. Governor-elect of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has expressed gratitude to God over what he described as a happy conclusion for his soon-to-be predecessor, Governor Udom Emmanuel.
