EMIR MOHAMMED SANUSI 11 ' S REINSTATEMENT

A JINX THAT WOULD HAVE BECOME A CURSE

Emmanuel Nicholas

The removal of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II from his position as the Emir of Kano by Governor Ganduje's government sent shockwaves through Nigeria and beyond.

This event, which occurred in recent times, drew parallels with history as it echoed the dethronement of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi I 57 years ago by the then northern Nigeria regional government led by Ahmadu Bello.

The struggle for the Sanusi family to break free from this cycle of dethronement and reinstatement has become a poignant narrative that symbolizes the clash between tradition, power, and the quest for redemption.

The history of the Sanusi Emirs of Kano is deeply intertwined with the political landscape of northern Nigeria. Emir Muhammadu Sanusi I, the grandfather of Emir Sanusi 11, was dethroned as the 11th Emir of Kano in 1963 by Ahmadu Bello's government.

This event marked a significant turning point in the history of the Sanusi dynasty and left a lasting impact on the family.

Fast-forward to the present day, and we witness a similar event unfolding with the removal of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II. The parallels between these two incidents highlight a recurring cycle that the Sanusi family is determined to break.

The removal of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II by Governor Ganduje's government was met with mixed reactions from the public. While some supported the decision citing reasons of insubordination and political interference, others viewed it as an attack on traditional institutions and a violation of the Emir's rights.

The contentious relationship between Governor Ganduje and Emir Sanusi added fuel to the fire, leading to a dramatic climax with the Emir's removal from office, but it widely condemned across the globe.

For Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II, the removal from office was not just a personal setback, but a continuation of a family legacy marred by dethronement.

The Emir's determination to end this cycle and prevent it from becoming a curse to his family, speaks volumes about his resilience and commitment to upholding the honour and dignity of the Sanusi dynasty.

By fighting for his reinstatement, Emir Sanusi II is not only seeking redemption for himself but also for his predecessors who faced similar challenges in the past.
From history, it was the outspoken nature of the first Sanusi that caused his removal, same history was repeated in Emir Sanusi 11.

The dream of reinstating Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II has been a long-standing aspiration for the once dethroned king. The desire to reclaim his position as the Emir of Kano symbolizes a quest for justice, legitimacy, and the restoration of honour to the Sanusi family.

The reinstatement of Emir Sanusi II would not only mark a personal victory for him but also a symbolic triumph over the forces that sought to diminish the legacy of the Sanusi dynasty.

In a stunning turn of events, the city of Kano was engulfed in jubilation as news spread rapidly that Emir Sanusi Mohammed 11 had been reinstated to his position.

The former Emir had been removed from his post for being vocal about various social and political issues, causing a wave of controversy and unrest in the region. However, his reinstatement brought joy and relief to many of his supporters, residents of Kano and the entire world.

Emir Sanusi Mohammed, known for his outspoken views on corruption, education, and women's rights, had garnered a large following both within and outside the traditional spheres of influence in Nigeria.

His removal had been met with protests and criticism from various quarters, with many seeing it as a suppression of freedom of speech and an attack on progressive voices in the region.

The reinstatement of Emir Sanusi Mohammed came as a surprise to many, signaling a possible shift in the political landscape of Kano.

The streets were filled with celebratory crowds, chanting slogans of support and waving flags in honour of their beloved leader. The atmosphere was electric, with a sense of hope and optimism palpable in the air.

For many Nigerians , the return of Emir Sanusi Mohammed symbolized a victory for truth, justice, and progressive values. His voice had been sorely missed during his absence, and his reinstatement is seen as a triumph of the will of the people over political machinations.

As night fell over the city, fireworks lit up the sky, and the sounds of music and celebration echoed through the streets. It was a moment of unity and joy, as people from all walks of life came together to rejoice in the return of a leader they believed in.

It was not a religious event, as Christians, Muslims, traditional worshipers and pagans all gathered to celebrate the return of the cerebral King

The reinstatement of Emir Sanusi Mohammed marked a new chapter for Kano, one filled with renewed hope and the promise of positive change.

As the city basked in the glow of jubilation, it was clear that the spirit of resilience and progressiveness that defined Emir Sanusi Mohammed's tenure would continue to inspire and uplift the people of Africa, Nigeria and Kano for years to come.

The removal of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II and the subsequent reinstatement have brought to light the complex interplay between tradition, power, and the quest for redemption in Nigeria.

.
As Emir Sanusi II ended the cycle which would have become a curse, by his officially reinstatement as Emir by Governor Abba Yusuf during a ceremonial event at the government house last Friday.

After the Kano house of assembly nullified the law that led to Sanusi's deposition and exile by former governor Abdullahi Ganduje in 2020, thereby clearing the path for Sanusi's reinstatement and the removal of Aminu Bayero as Emir of Kano.

Emir Mohammed Sanusi 11 has set his family free from becoming a curse, and cancel recurring history woes from being part of their legacy.

What Every Men Must Know About Women

What do women want? When you know what women want from men it is much easier to navigate relationships. There are 5 things that men must understand about women. Women desire to “feel” these things, not just know them logically. Men must know that: 1. Women want to feel loved. Many women feel insecure about our love for them. There are two things we men can do about it. First, reassure her. In times of conflict, we should tell them we love them no matter what and that everything will be okay (“I love you. We’ll get through this.”) When she’s upset, she doesn’t need space,” she needs a hug and to be held. Second, pursue her. Women need to be pursued throughout the relationship, just as we pursue them before we got married. 2. Women want to feel understood. Women need us to understand how they think and feel, even though that is virtually impossible. It would help us to understand that most women’s thought lives are like computers, with multiple windows open and processing all at once.

EVANGELISM: man is nothing without God's

When GOD wanted to create fish, HE spoke to the sea. When GOD wanted to create trees, HE spoke to the earth, but when GOD wanted to create man,HE talked to Himself. Then GOD said: "Let us make man in our own image and likeness". Please note: If you take a fish out of water, it will die; and when you remove a tree from the ground, it will also die. Likewise, when man is disconnected from GOD, he dies. GOD is our natural environment. We were created to live in His presence. We must be connected to Him because it is only in Him that life exists. Let's stay connected to GOD. We recall... GOD without man is always GOD but man without GOD is nothing... Always find a place to commune with GOD. www.twitter.com/zionchronicle www.facebook.com/zionchronicle
