COAS COMMISSIONS PROJECTS AT NAIC HEADQUARTERS...Emphasizes the role of Intelligence Corps in National Security Effort

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja on Wednesday 28 February 2024 commissioned the remodelled Quarter Guard and unveiled the newly constructed Gatekeepers Statue at Headquarters Nigerian Army Intelligence Corps (NAIC) in Asokoro, Abuja.

Addressing the officers and soldiers of the Corps shortly after the commissioning ceremony, General Lagbaja expressed gratitude for their invaluable service to the Nigerian Army (NA) and the nation at large. The COAS highlighted the Corps' pivotal role in the fight against insurgency and other criminal activities through their adept intelligence gathering. He reiterated his command philosophy and urged officers and men of the Corps to continue to work hard towards its actualisation. He appreciated that personnel of the Corps go to great lengths to carry out their role and charge them to even redouble their efforts.

Emphasizing the crucial role played by the Corps in the broader framework of national security and intelligence operations, the Army Chief  noted that the role of intelligence in combating various threats facing the nation and hence must receive paramount attention. He assured the Corps of his continued support in order to sustain its role in the NA.

General Lagbaja stressed the importance of empowering the Corps with requisite equipment, training, and technology to enhance their effectiveness in gathering, analyzing, and disseminating requisite intelligence, adding that by providing the NAIC with robust support to enable intelligence driven operations, the NA will effectively surmount security challenges bedeviling the country.

Lagbaja avered that a well-equipped and proficient Nigerian Army Intelligence Corps is essential for maintaining a safer and more secure Nigeria. The COAS called for seamless coordination and collaboration between the NAIC and other NA Corps, Sister Services, the intelligence community, law enforcement agencies, and other relevant government bodies to address evolving security threats comprehensively.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Chief of Military Intelligence (Army) Major General Thompson Ugiagbe disclosed that the Headquarters NAIC office complex has not received any renovation for quite a number of years, thus, prompting the remodeling initiative. He added that the Gatekeepers Statue is a common feature of Intelligence Services worldwide and symbolizes the Corps' commitment to honoring the past, inspiring the present, and securing the future through vigilant and dedicated intelligence efforts.

What Every Men Must Know About Women

What do women want? When you know what women want from men it is much easier to navigate relationships. There are 5 things that men must understand about women. Women desire to “feel” these things, not just know them logically. Men must know that: 1. Women want to feel loved. Many women feel insecure about our love for them. There are two things we men can do about it. First, reassure her. In times of conflict, we should tell them we love them no matter what and that everything will be okay (“I love you. We’ll get through this.”) When she’s upset, she doesn’t need space,” she needs a hug and to be held. Second, pursue her. Women need to be pursued throughout the relationship, just as we pursue them before we got married. 2. Women want to feel understood. Women need us to understand how they think and feel, even though that is virtually impossible. It would help us to understand that most women’s thought lives are like computers, with multiple windows open and processing all at once.

EVANGELISM: man is nothing without God's

When GOD wanted to create fish, HE spoke to the sea. When GOD wanted to create trees, HE spoke to the earth, but when GOD wanted to create man,HE talked to Himself. Then GOD said: "Let us make man in our own image and likeness". Please note: If you take a fish out of water, it will die; and when you remove a tree from the ground, it will also die. Likewise, when man is disconnected from GOD, he dies. GOD is our natural environment. We were created to live in His presence. We must be connected to Him because it is only in Him that life exists. Let's stay connected to GOD. We recall... GOD without man is always GOD but man without GOD is nothing... Always find a place to commune with GOD. www.twitter.com/zionchronicle www.facebook.com/zionchronicle
