Against the backgrounds of all manners of insults said against church leaders for the calls for reopening of churches at this season of COVID-19 where in government and people prefer the church to remain lockdown while markets, malls open.
I have diligently consider that both the masses and the government were not only Antichrist, anti church, anti God but also anti economic growth.
Many have claimed that pastors and Church leaders are calling for church reopening based on tithes and offerings while some have concluded and made several unfathomed assertion that it is because these are into businesses and their finances going down but not as they thought or imagined.
I am sure someone will be expecting me to start defending the pastors or the business so called but l will rather hit the nail on the head and allow individual conscience, sense of reasoning, fear of God and humanity, and spectacle of economy to judge the masses and the government which l rather consider as very wicked in this context.
CHURCH ECONOMY
Has it ever come to your mind how many families in all facets of life, religious and ethnic groups depend solely on church services.
I mean when people attend churches. How?
The commercial drivers and riders are major victims of church lockdown
Don't you realize what they make per church service in their neighborhoods.
No commuters / passengers no income for the drivers and operators.
The Okada, tricycle riders suffer as long as the church is lock down
So if government like let them feel that they are against the church but indirectly daily killing some aspect of the economy.
Do you realize that the sales of the the petrol stations also crumbled per service. Individuals Congregants stays off the church, the petrol station is opened for nothing,. Churches running services with diesel and petrol shut their patronage.
Commercial drivers refuse to patronize the station because there is no market for services.
Who is fooling who?
Hawkers, breadsellers, foodsellers, including beggars etc are likewise stranded you think the church lockdown does not have effect on the economy?
Booksellers, Goya or olive oil sellers, biscuit sellers, sweet sellers, snacks sellers, drinks sellers, yogurt sellers also closed down just to mention a few
Back to offering and tithe, commercial banks are in big time trouble. Ask them their losses against any savings in the so called churches account which the bank absolutely depend on for various business strategy
Media houses in trouble as no advert placement again on radio, television and print media . Whao. What an error to keep the church under lockdown?
Guest houses, hotels, Halls suffer because churches don't have the programs neither do they lodge guests or do some other bookings.
Who is foolish in this context?
Some churches have regular people to supply canopies, chairs, even foods and drinks per service at the expense of the churches but they can't get these done yet you felt the church has no contribution to the economy
Some agents, estate surveyors, lawyers are suffering because some transactions expected of the churches as clients are also down. Ask those concerned you will be sorry for the government.
Electricity distribution companies are also sharing part of the cake since no power consumption by the churches
Has the government ever thought just for a moment to quantify or estimate the economy that goes on at redemption camp of Nigeria just for the Holy Ghost night service alone? . Or the flow of cash with commercial operators to any meeting at cannan land in Ota Nigeria just for mentioning.
Please note, l as a pastor, the church can't loose anything l mean and repeat it that the church has nothing to loose. Not at all but the masses and the government have a lot to loose if the church remains locked.
Apart from various healings and miracles of God that take place in the church there's a lot to the church in terms of her immense effect on the economy.
I dare the government to lockdown the church for two months more, an unprecedented revolution will happen through the masses and not even through the churches.
Some people's business were directly located around the church and yet the government didn't see these.
The church reopening should be looked into and the church be given the utmost relevance while the government takes refuge and direction from the church on how it could be safely operated than to think the church is a business centre
Jesus declared Upon this rock will l build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail.
