PALLIATIVE : Apostolic Church, Zion Assembly Donates Foodstuffs to Members & noon members.
The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Zion Assembly, under Mararaba district, Nyanya Area Fct Field, Abuja has commenced the distribution of food items to the members (Zion Assembly), the needy , widow, widower, less privileged and vulnerable persons so as to cushion the effect of the lockdown and restrictions of this global pandemic in Abuja
In a statement by the Presiding Elder, Elder Charles Asiya said that the items are distributed to the church members,less privileged, vulnerable…etc
Pastor Udoh U. Ntah noted that his Church has made adequate provisions to assist the people of the Church and some members of the public just to overcome the challenges of life due to the incidence of COVID-19 Pandemic.
He also stated that, the distribution of food items will continue even with or without the lockdown.
To ensure transparency and accountability in the course of distributing the items, Elder Ita George. added that the distribution of the relief materials is being undertaken by the Church welfare committee on making sure these items get to all members and some members of the public as earlier stated.
Zion Chronicle info noted that the Church has also embarked on sensitization campaign, for members and noon members to understand that the virus which is now a pandemic is real. And to make them adhere to the preventive measures put up by the government to curb the spread of the Virus in Abuja.
Pastor Ntah commended Mararaba District, Zion Assembly, all the members for their understanding with the Authority and the federal government for responding appropriately to the outbreak of the virus in the country, by so doing God Almighty will surely eliminate Corona virus in our country Nigeria and the world in general.
