Otobong moved on from this world last on Tuesday 16th feb. 2021. With sadness in our hearts, we find solace in knowing that he’s in a better place, he left this earth after battling with an illness to survive Until his death He was a member at Airport Road Chapter of the Ibom Mandate Crusaders (Shoe size) Abuja & 19 Northern States, He was a frontier during the 2019 Governorship election in Etinan among the team  supervised  by Comrade Peter O.Peter from Abuja to Akwa Ibom State, as PDP card carrier he was the unit surveillance watch to protect the polling unit for free and fare elections of a successful casting of voters at slute peters center,Uyo road in Etinan L.G.A. President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed Nigeria’s appreciation to the Republic of Chad for providing security back-up to the country in its crusade against insurgency. According to a statement issued by Presidential Spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, the President spoke yesterday at the State House, Abuja, while receiving in audience Mr Ahmat Oumar Ahmat, a Special Envoy of President Idriss Deby Itno. President Buhari said the need for security collaboration with our neighbours was why his first trips on assuming office in 2015 were to Nigeria’s immediate neighbours. “I went round because we needed to work together. The peoples are the same, cultures are similar, so it was important that we also worked together on security,” the President said. He wished Republic of Chad the best of luck in the general elections coming up in April.
