COVID-19 EDUCATION UPDATE: FG Okays 'Safe Reopening' Of Schools Nationwide, lifts ban on inter stats travel June 29,2020

The Federal Government has announced the approval of what it called “safe reopening” of schools nationwide in the next phase of the gradual easing of lockdown implemented to curtail further spread of COVID-19 in the country. However, not all students are allowed to resume as only graduating students will resume. The ban on interstate movement has also been lifted, effective from July 1, 2020 . The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, disclosed this at the ongoing daily briefing of the task force in Abuja on Monday. He said the reopening of schools was meant to allow students in graduating classes resume preparation for examinations. He disclosed that the latest developments were contained in the task force’s fifth interim report which was submitted to the President Muhammadu Buhari, earlier in the day. The word of God is one thing that put you in command of everything. The Bible is made up of hidden treasures and until your mind's eyes are open, you cannot see beyond the letter into the wonders. When reading the word, your prayers should always be "Lord open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law" Psalm 119:18 . You need to be able to see before you can possess. Nothing is appropriated in the kingdom without first being seen. Until you see beyond the letters in the word, you cannot behold them. The word will stir your mind and make you to enjoy a word of no limits is the word that you have seen. Sound wisdom comes from the word Psalm 119:98. The federal government has readjusted the nationwide curfew of corona virus pandemic.

The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 has reduced the curfew, saying it will now be from 10 pm to 4 am.   The National Coordinator of the PTF, Dr Sani Aliyu, announced this on Monday at the daily briefing of the task force in Abuja. He said: “Effective from tomorrow, Tuesday, June 2, 2020, the easing of the lockdown will be characterised by the following: The nationwide curfew will remain in place but the timing of this will be reduced to 10pm-4am.” “And just to clarify, the purpose of the curfew is to limit social interactions and, therefore, reduce the risk of transmission of the virus,” he added. Dr Aliyu emphasised that persons who are on essential duty remain exempted from the curfew as the nation moves into the second phase of the gradual easing of the COVID-19 lockdown.
